I am looking for problem in data mining to work on for my Ph.D. I have done

registration recently. I found one problem i.e "In social networking sites we

used to include messages, images and videos, and everything gets stored in to their

data bases. Suppose if i delete my account still my data will be in their

databases". Can anyone tell me whether it is feasible to work on for my research. If

not, could anyone suggest a topic in data mining which has lot of scope.

Social network is currently popular so choosing a topic related to social networks looks like a good idea, in my opinion.

About the data stored in social networks, it is true that the data may not be deleted for facebook, but there exists some other social networks like Diapora where you can store your own data on your own Diaspora server ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diaspora_(social_network) ) But this idea could probably still be improved.

Just some ideas.

Hi,
Thanks for responding to my query. As u said mining in social networks is a good

idea. I think many people are working in social networks w.r.t. data mining. Could

any one suggest problem in data mining w.r.t. social networks if possible. I am

going through the papers for finding a problem. I have one more topic in my mind

Data Stream Clustering. Could any one suggest about this topic whether it has a

scope or not?
