Finding a topic takes time. A good starting point is to read articles from recent conferences in data mining to see what is currently popular, or to discuss with your research advisor to ask him for help about selecting a topic.
There is no easy way to find a topic. You need to take the time to think about it and search for it. It can takes a few weeks to find a good topic.
