Would you like to play a leadership role for an ambitious and forward looking unit of analysts, researchers and data experts in one of the world’s most dynamic global cities?

The Greater London Authority (GLA) relies on its Intelligence Unit to provide high quality data and analysis to inform policy and delivery. Within the Intelligence Unit, you will manage, motivate and lead the Demography and Policy Analysis team. You will be responsible for high quality demographic outputs which underpin key strategies like the London Plan and the London Infrastructure Plan, as well as for the delivery of high quality statistical analysis to support policy development across the organisation.

You will also have the opportunity to work on a range of high profile initiatives such as the Schools Atlas and the well-regarded London DataStore, and play a key role in the development of emerging disciplines like big data analytics and smart cities.

Statistically literate, you will be a guardian of quality and quick in getting to grips with city policy issues. A strong communicator, you will make sure that complex analyses are recognised and acted upon in policy discussions.
