Hello,
I am doing my M.tech and working on Sequential data mining. when i generate the synthetic dataset using the IBM Synthetic Data Generation. i get the file. just here i write 1st line of the that sequence(as an example from the IBM Synthetic Data Generation help file...and copy paste here..)

9 1 2479 2 2154 5477 4 440 2276 6036 9838 4 6639 7926 9054 9748 1 1247 1 1992 1 2535 3 5095 7744 9337 6 2343 4737 7188 8518 9241 9486

also i am telling that what is the means of this output file(if i am wrong in that please let me know.)
1st element( here is 9) tell me that how many transaction i have in this particular sequence... 2nd (here is 1) telling me that how many items i have in that transaction(here for the 1st, we have '2479') and so on....
(basically i put this post to let know that i am getting right or wrong?)
now can any one help me in. how can i read file and what should be my program that will generate the file like <(2479)(2154 5477)(440 2276 6036 9838)...>?
please help me.

Hello Dvijesh,

I did not try the generator, but according to the instructions in the README file, it says:

Each line contains a sequence. The first number is the total number of itemsets in this sequence. After that, each itemset is displayed, first by the number of items in this itemset, then followed by the items in that itemset, in increasing order.

Maybe you have read this already.

Hope this helps,

Philippe
