Threshold Selection in ROC

ROC curve can be used to select a threshold for a classifier which maximises the true positives, while minimising the false positives.
My question is regarding Threshold Selection

To draw the ROC how to select the threshold from where should i get the threshold value?
please could you give me an example how to select it?
