As the Web rapidly evolves, Web users are evolving with it. In an era of social
connectedness, people are becoming increasingly enthusiastic about interacting,
sharing contents, and collaborating through social networks, online communities,
blogs, Wikis, and other online collaborative media.

In recent years, this collective intelligence has spread to many different areas,
with a particular focus on fields related to everyday life such as commerce, tourism,
education, and health, causing the size of the Social Web to expand exponentially.

The main aim of the AI4BigData???20 Special Track is to explore the new frontiers of
big data computing for social computing, opinion mining, sentiment analysis, and
credibility assessment of online information through machine learning techniques,
knowledge-based systems, adaptive and transfer learning, in order to more efficiently
retrieve and extract social information from the Social Web.

***********************************************************************************

TOPICS OF INTEREST

The broader context of the Special Track comprehends Artificial Intelligence,
Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Computational Social Science,
Web Mining, Semantic Web.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

- Social content/context and Information Retrieval
- Social content/context and Recommender Systems
- Organization and group behavior on social media
- Cultural influences on use and adoption of social media
- Text categorization, clustering, and summarization
- Multi-modal affective computing
- Multi-domain & cross-domain evaluation
- Sentiment / Social Network / Visual Analysis
- Sentiment topic detection & trend discovery
- Predicting real-world phenomena based on social media
- Social innovation and change through social media
- Ethnographic studies of social media
- Online information credibility assessment
- Information/misinformation diffusion
- Credibility of crowdsourced data
- Architectures for Big Data Engineering

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions of all papers to FLAIRS-33 is done through the EasyChair conference
system:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=flairs33

When submitting your paper, select the AI4BigData???20 Track.

Double-blind reviewing will be provided, so submitted papers must not reveal
authors identify (for example, use your paper ID from EasyChair instead of author
name in your paper).

Do NOT use a fake name for your EasyChair login; your EasyChair account information
is hidden from reviewers.

The proceedings of FLAIRS will be published by the AAAI, and indexed on Scopus and
DBLP. Authors of accepted papers will be required to sign a form transferring copyright
of their contribution to AAAI. FLAIRS requires that there be at least one full author
registration per paper.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology is looking for a new assistant professor to be appointed within the Process Analytics group. The Process Analytics group specializes in process-aware data analytics.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science provides undergraduate and master programs in Mathematics, Computer Science and Data Science. The department has research collaborations with other departments at TU/e as well as with a large number of other universities, companies, and medical centers, both nationally and internationally. The Department has approximately 350 employees and about 1500 students.

In the department, the Process Analytics group distinguishes itself by its fundamental, evidence-based focus on modelling, understanding, analyzing, and improving processes. Essentially, every time two or more activities are performed to reach a certain goal, fundamental principles of processes apply. Processes take place on the level of individual actors, groups of actors, entire organizations, and networks of organizations. Models of processes help in understanding these processes and by analyzing data showing what happened, when, in which context as recorded by various systems, we aim to get insights into these processes and we develop the tools and techniques to obtain these insights.

For more details on the vacancy, please consult the website here: https://jobs.tue.nl/en/vacancy/assistant-professor-within-the-process-analytics-group-832753.html
