TRuleGrowth Window Size Contrainst

Hello all,
I am using TRuleGrowth to do some pattern mining and when I increase the window size contrainst from 3 to 5 the number of patterns outputted is drastically reduced. I thought the window size would increase how many patterns are looked at relative to one and thus create more patterns? Can anyone help me with my understanding? Thank you!

Hi,
Thanks for using SPMF. Yes, indeed, increasing the window size constraint should increase the number of patterns.
Maybe there is some problem with the input file?
If you want you can send me to philfv8 AT yahoo DOT com with the parameter values that you used and I can test it.
