decision tree: minimal confidence for the correct label

I would like to ask for help with the following matter.
In RapidMiner one of the performance measures of decision trees is called the margin. The margin is defined as: "minimal confidence for the correct label".
I understand the idea of confidence as the confidence interval which can be calculated for every node in the tree and then one can take the maximum and that can represent maximum confidence (or minimum) for the entire tree.
However, I do not understand what is the minimal confidence for the correct label.
My idea is that it can be the minimum value from all confidence intervals for all the nodes in a tree, but I cannot find anywhere in the books or internet anything which would verify this opinion of mine.
