SIAM SDM2020 conference is cancelled due to the coronavirus

Today, I saw this e-mail explaining that the SMD 2020 conference will be cancelled this year due to the corona virus:

Dear Member of SIAG/DMA,
In light of the expanding coronavirus outbreak and its threat to public health and well-being, SIAM leadership and the committee chairs of the 2020 SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (SDM20) and the 2020 SIAM Conference on Mathematics of Data Science (MDS20) have made the difficult decision that the jointly held meetings cannot proceed as scheduled for May 5-9 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In the case of SDM20, the conference has been cancelled and our organizational efforts are now being redirected to SDM21, currently planned to take place in Alexandria, Virginia, March 25-27. The proceedings for SDM20 will be published as planned on SIAM’s e-publication site and will count as a regular SDM20 publication. There will not be any difference in the publication consideration from the authors’ perspective. All speakers with papers accepted to SDM20 should expect to be invited to present their work at SDM21.
In the case of MDS20, the conference has been postponed with the intent to reschedule to a date to be determined in 2021.
All registration fees will be reimbursed in full. SIAM asks for your patience in accomplishing this task. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with airline, train or hotel reservations. Participants are encouraged to contact the provider directly regarding refunded expenses.
